The camera has two basic functions:
-Time-lapse: records a series of still images with a fixed interval.
-Motion detection: record a video sequence, when the program detects motion.

With time lapse, the camera can record a video that consists of a series of still images, which are recorded at fixed intervals. The interval can be set between 1 frame per second and 1 picture every 24 hours. Time lapse function can be used to make “high-speed” videos of various development processes. It can for example be a construction site or other forms of integration courses. The camera can also be used in the wild as a game camera. Battery life is up to 9 months by the inclusion of 1 image per 24 hours. When shooting 1 picture per 10 sec. battery life is approximately 24 hours.

With motion detection, camera stand stand-by until there is movement. The built-in PIR sensor starts a video recording when motion is detected in front of the camera. The video recording lasts 30 seconds or 10 frames (adjustable).
